Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to inaugurate, dedicate, and lay foundation stones for development projects worth more than Rs 35,000 crore in the Gujarat city . This includes dedicating three sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) to the nation and flagging off new freight and passenger train services . Special fan zones have also been arranged for people who could not secure seats at the main venue .
