Overseas markets contributed an additional Rs 1 crore on Day 18, pushing the overseas gross to Rs 122 crore and taking the worldwide gross collection to Rs 270.45 crore . The film was released in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu on August 21, 2026 .
Historic Run and Rankings
The film has become the second-highest-grossing Malayalam film worldwide, behind only ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra,’ which has earned Rs 304 crore globally . In Kerala, the film has grossed Rs 120.80 crore in just 18 days, placing it third in the state’s all-time box-office rankings. It needs only Rs 1.15 crore to overtake ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’ for second place and Rs 8.75 crore to surpass the Kerala record held by ‘Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros’ at Rs 129.55 crore .
‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ is the biggest hit of Nivin Pauly’s career, crossing both the Rs 200-crore and Rs 250-crore global milestones and surpassing his previous best, ‘Sarvam Maya’ . It also gives Pauly his second all-time blockbuster after ‘Premam,’ making him only the second Malayalam star after Mohanlal to achieve this feat .
Week-by-Week Performance
The film opened with Rs 4.90 crore on Day 1 and grew steadily through its first weekend, collecting Rs 7.15 crore on Day 2 and Rs 8.80 crore on Day 3 . The first week total reached Rs 52.30 crore . Momentum continued into the second week, with collections of Rs 9.55 crore on Day 8, Rs 10.20 crore on Day 9 and Rs 10.40 crore on Day 10, before settling into a steady weekday pace . The second week ended with a total of Rs 49.85 crore .
In its third weekend, the film saw a significant spike, earning Rs 8.10 crore on Day 17 (Sunday), before the Monday dip to Rs 3.70 crore .
