The Honda Elevate facelift will launch in India on October 6, 2026, according to dealer sources and industry reports. The mid-cycle update brings exterior styling revisions, new interior features, and additional safety technology to Honda’s midsize SUV.
The current Elevate was introduced in India in June 2023. The facelift arrives amid declining sales, with the SUV averaging around 1,900 units per month over the past ten months and cumulative sales of 17,071 units during that period.
Exterior Changes
The facelift will feature a revised front fascia with a new grille design and updated bumpers. Spy shots of test mules show camouflage covering both the front and rear sections, indicating styling changes at both ends.
The SUV is expected to receive reworked LED headlamps with integrated dual-function LED daytime running lights. At the rear, revised tail lamp graphics are anticipated, potentially including a connected LED bar.
The Elevate will retain its overall boxy proportions, roof rails, shark-fin antenna, and integrated roof spoiler. New 17-inch alloy wheels are also expected.
Interior and Feature Upgrades
The cabin is expected to receive new seat upholstery, revised trim finishes, and a new interior colour scheme. The dashboard layout will likely remain unchanged.
Key feature additions include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and possibly a panoramic sunroof. The current Elevate lacks these features, which are available on competitors such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
Honda may also expand the availability of its Honda Sensing ADAS suite to mid-level variants. The current model offers camera-based ADAS only on top trims.
The infotainment system may receive updates, though the existing 10.25-inch unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is expected to continue.
Powertrain and Hybrid Plans
The Elevate facelift will continue with the 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. It produces 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox.
Honda has stated there are no plans to introduce a hybrid version of the Elevate in India. The company’s near-term focus remains on electric vehicles and new-generation products rather than adding a hybrid powertrain to the current model.
Some reports had speculated about an e:HEV strong hybrid option, but Honda has dismissed these plans for the immediate future.
Pricing
The current Honda Elevate is priced from Rs 11.81 lakh to Rs 16.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift is expected to carry a slight price premium due to the added features.
On-road prices for the current model range from approximately Rs 12.88 lakh to Rs 20.38 lakh, depending on the city and variant. In Delhi, the entry-level SV MT variant has an on-road price of about Rs 14.27 lakh.
The Elevate competes in the midsize SUV segment against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Tata Sierra.
Launch Timeline
Honda dealership sources indicate the Elevate facelift will debut in early October 2026. The launch is scheduled for October 6, aligning with the festive season in India.
The facelift is expected to help Honda maintain the Elevate’s competitiveness until the company’s next wave of products arrives in the Indian market.
